Home Thoughts Anthology

Home_Thoughts_2

Home Thoughts is a collection of poetry written by the British Indian diaspora, edited by Usha Kishore and Jaydeep Sarangi.

It was published by Cyberwit India on Republic Day, 26th January, 2017.

This is a unique, first-of-its-kind book exclusively featuring the work of contemporary British Indian poets, who are first generation immigrants.

This is the poetry of ‘Home’ in all the meanings of the word.

The anthology aspires to create a new dimension for British Indian poetry by gathering cultural integrity, displacement and home thoughts in the folds of its metaphors.

Sandycombe Lodge in Twickenham, once the ‘country’ villa of the artist JMW Turner is being restored and will open again to the public later this year.

Caroline AreskogJones made two beautiful subtle silent films as portraits of Sandycombe Lodge prior to the refurbishment process.

The first, With heart as calm as lake that sleeps, includes a script written by me.
